Fireproof Luxfery

Fire-resistant luxspheres are necessary for projects where fire resistance is required. They are used where it is necessary to prevent the spread of fire and to ensure the movement and escape of people. Therefore, it is advisable to use luxfers for escape routes to ensure safe escape without fire and smoke. We offer luxspheres for vertical and horizontal structures with EI values of 30, 60 and 90 minutes according to ČSN. Luxfers are available in several finishes and sizes.

The fire-resistant Luxfery separates the premises from a possible fire. They prevent the spread of flame and smoke for a certain period of time, which is determined by the EI value. The fire resistance in minutes is a basic indicator that shows how long a fire-resistant construction will resist and prevent the spread of a resulting fire. Fire resistance ranges from 15 to 90 minutes.

In order for the resulting surface to have this declared value, all materials used (reinforcement, mortar, silicones, expansion material) must meet the same minimum value!
