Training - PO

Legal entities and natural persons operating activities with increased or high fire hazards are obliged to ensure regular training of employees on fire protection and training of employees assigned to preventive fire patrols as well as fire prevention officers. It follows from this legal regulation that legal persons and natural persons operating activities without fire hazards are not obliged to ensure regular training of employees on fire protection. However, they are obliged to familiarise their employees with the legal and other provisions on occupational safety, safety of technical equipment and occupational health. These regulations include the regulations on fire protection.
Training is a very important preventive element in ensuring fire protection in any organisation.
Fire safety training is carried out separately for employees and for managers and is required also be provided for persons who are occasionally present at the workplaces of legal entities and natural persons engaged in business.
Employee training shall be carried out on the basis of a prepared thematic plan and timetable, at the time of commencement of employment, at each each time an employee changes workplace or job assignment, if this also changes the fire hazard at the workplace to which the employee has moved, and is repeated once every 2 years.
