Control of PBZ - emergency lighting

Emergency lighting is a fire safety device (FSE) designed for the escape of persons in the event of a fire. The operation of the fire safety equipment is carried out in accordance with the normative requirements and the manufacturer's accompanying documentation, or in accordance with the verified design documentation or more detailed documentation.
Emergency lighting is a system of luminaires used for the escape of persons in the event of danger, usually fire and other emergencies, when it is necessary to leave the place as quickly as possible. Emergency lighting is automatically switched on when the power supply is interrupted.
The purpose of the emergency lighting is to ensure safe interruption of activities and exit from the premises where the power failure has occurred.
Emergency lighting shall be located to provide sufficient illumination in the vicinity of each utilitydoors and at locations where it is necessary to highlight potential hazards or safety equipment.

EMERGENCY LIGHTING CONTROL
The check of the operability of the fire safety equipment and thus also the emergency lighting is carried out according to MV Decree No.246/2001 Coll. on fire prevention, as amended, to the extent and in the manner specified by the legal regulations, normative requirements, the accompanying documentation of its manufacturer, and at leastonce a year, unless shorter periods are stipulated by the manufacturer, verified project documentation or more detailed documentation or fire hazard assessment. After the inspection, a document on the inspection of the operational status of the fire safety equipment shall be issued, which must contain at least the information prescribed by the Decree.
