EXTOVER® FIRE PROTECTION GRANULATE - 12.5 KG

This fire-resistant granulate is the ideal solution for safe storage and fire fighting of lithium polymer batteries. This solution is ideal for transporting or charging Li-Ion batteries.
Our fire granules are suitable for Class D and Lithium-Ion battery fire loads. The extinguishing effect of the granules in metal fires has been tested and confirmed by MPA Dresden.

After the burning area is covered with Extover®, the particles replace the oxygen and separate the oxygen from the burning object. Like glass, Extover® melts at a certain temperature.

With Extover® extinguishing granules you are perfectly prepared for all lithium fires in your workshop. If a battery catches fire here, you can quickly and safely wipe it with the granules! The granules are gently applied to the fire. The expanded glass granules surround the fire and smother it. At particularly high temperatures, the melt melts and spills over the surface of the burning metal. The melt forms an airtight cap which, when cooled, sinters and extinguishes the metal fire. Re-ignition is effectively prevented.
