LITHIUM-ION BATTERY TRANSPORT BOX - 800 L

The lithium-ion battery transport container can be used for packing other hazardous substances. In all cases, however, it is necessary to comply with the relevant ADR guideline for the packaging of the specific hazardous substance.

The hot-dip galvanized container for lithium-ion batteries (Li-Ion) is certified according to Chapter 6.1 of the ADR as a steel box (4A). It does not require recertification during its service life.

FOR LITHIUM BATTERIES, THE PACKAGING IS CERTIFIED ACCORDING TO 4.1.4.1 OF THE ADR FOR:

• Lithium batteries transported for disposal or recycling,
• new lithium batteries produced in small batches (up to 100 units) or prototypes transported for testing,
• damaged or defective lithium batteries, including those contained in devices other than those susceptible to rapiddecomposition, hazardous reaction, the generation of fire or dangerous heat or the release of toxic, corrosive or flammable vapours,
• other lithium batteries (e.g. new lithium batteries that are transported within the sales chain).

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Conform to DIN 30741, Part I, UN certified,
• handling by forklift or crane,
• document pocket,
• hot-dip galvanized.

LID:

• fitted with handle,
• lockable in open position 81 degrees and automatic locking when opened 270 degrees,
• 4 lid locks,
• springs to support the lid,
• lid thickness 3 mm,
• thickness of sides 2 mm,
• bottom thickness 2.5 mm
