Hydrant streamers
Hydrant nozzles are a key element in fire protection for the effective application of water in fire fighting. Hydrant streamers are part of hydrant systems installed in, for example, hospitals, schools, industrial buildings, shopping centres, hotels, etc. The design of the hydrants allows easy and efficient regulation of the water flow and directing the water directly to the fire outbreak.
HOW ARE HYDRANT NOZZLES USED?
Hydrant nozzles are used for direct application of water to the fire. The streamers are connected to the hydrant hose and allow manual control of the intensity and shape of the water stream from gentle to strong. Simple handling allows for accuracy and efficiency in fire fighting.
WHAT MATERIAL ARE HYDRANT STREAMERS MADE OF?
Hydrant streamers are made of a strong material that is durable and allows use in harsh conditions. Some parts of the nozzles, such as the handles, may be made of rubber or plastic to facilitate handling and a secure grip during firefighting.
