WHAT ARE THE AVAILABLE TYPES OF MOBILE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS?

Such premises may be, for example, airports, laboratories, hazardous material stores, transformers, etc. The devices are built to withstand extreme temperatures, typically ranging from -30°C - +60°C, allowing them to be used in a variety of climatic conditions.

Mobile powder extinguishers are ideal for use on larger fire installations, e.g. They are also suitable for outdoor use, such as underground garages, industrial plants, warehouses, garages, large heating systems, commercial and industrial buildings, vehicles.
Mobile foam fire extinguishers are suitable for use in the chemical industry, flammable liquid warehouses, paint shops, hospitals, warehouses, parkingbuildings and garages, non-residential premises, large warehouses, military installations, mining and woodworking industries, etc. Foam can be easily removed from surfaces after fire fighting.
Mobile CO2 extinguishers are particularly suitable for areas and operations with high fire spread such as aviation, transformers, laboratories, museums and also in all hazardous material storage areas, flammable gas chemicals.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MOBILE EXTINGUISHER AND A PORTABLE EXTINGUISHER?
The extinguishing agent container of a mobile extinguisher is mounted on a robust metal structure. This structure is fitted with two sturdy and stable wheels which allow the extinguisher to be easily moved in the event of a fire. These wheels are made of solid material to cope with different types of terrain in industrial or outdoor buildings. For easy and efficient fire fighting, the mobile fire extinguisher is equipped with a long hose that is terminated with a nozzle or jet.

CLASSIFICATION OF FIRE CLASSES
Mobile fire extinguishers are classified according to the type of fire they are capable of extinguishing. The fire classes are indicated by the capital letters A, B, C, D and F. These letters indicate the type of material burning, from solids (wood, plastic, paper) to liquids (gasoline, petroleum oil, paint) gases (propane, butane, methane), metals (magnesiumk, lithium, titanium, aluminium) to oils and fats (vegetable, sunflower, olive, butter and lard) used in catering equipment. We have a special designation for lithium battery fires in the form of a battery - it is not a class of fire. In this category we include electric scooters, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, electronic cigarettes, e-bikes and others.

MARINE CERTIFICATION "WHEELMARK"
Selected mobile fire extinguishers have "Wheelmark" certification, which is indicated by the helm logo. This certification marks mobile fire extinguishers that meet EU standards and regulations for marine equipment. ANTIFREEZE MOBILE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
