Revision of stable pressure vessels (TNS)

It is the legal obligation of all operators of pressure equipment to ensure that audits are carried out resulting from the Decree of the Czech Labour Safety Authority and the Czech Mining Authority No. 18/1979 Coll., determining reserved pressure equipment and laying down certain conditions for ensuring their safety, as amended, and the related CSN 690012 Stable pressure vessels Operational requirements.

The inspection technician must have a certificate of competence issued by the supervisory authority for carrying out inspections and tests on the basis of a passed test.

Our company can offer you tests and revisions of stable pressure vessels according to ČNS 690012 in the following timeframes depending on the type of revision required:

  1. EXIT INSPECTION of TNS - it is performed for new, reconstructed or repaired vessels or for vessels that have beenchange of use or relocation, except for mobile, transportable and portable vessels
  • before being put into service
  1. OPERATIONAL INSPECTION of TNS - to be carried out during operation, taking into account the type, construction, condition and age of the vessel, the operating fluid and the operating conditions of the vessels
  • first within 14 days after the vessel has been put into service
  • next at least once a year and at least once every two years for refrigeration vessels
  1. INTERNAL INSPECTION of the TNS - to ascertain and assess the condition of the vessel externally and internally, including all orifices and fittings
  • at least once every 5 years, taking into account the type, design, condition and age of the vessel, the operating fluid and the operating conditions
  1. TNS TIGHTNESS TEST - to demonstrate that the pressure vessel assembly, including fittings, is tight at operating overpressure.
  • after each internal inspection
  • if the location and extent of the leak needs to be further determined
  • after the replacement of hot-rolled tubes or pressure parts already subjected to structural and pressure testing at the time of manufacture
  1. TNS PRESSURE TEST - to demonstrate the strength and tightness of the vessel under test overpressure
  • at least once every 9 years unless a shorter period is specified in the commissioning instructions
  • then after each repair, modification or reconstruction,
  • after a break in service of more than two years, if required by an internal inspection
  • after relocation of the vessel (not applicable to mobile, portable, transferable and newly delivered vessels), if required by an internal inspection
  • after the maximum working pressure or the maximum working temperature has been exceeded, at which the quality of the vessel wall material may have deteriorated
  1. TESTING OF TNS OPERATORS
  • at least 1 time every 3 years
