Suction baskets
Suction baskets are designed to protect the pump from dirt during suction from an external source. To keep water in the suction line during temporary interruption of suction, the suction baskets are equipped with a check valve. The water flows into the suction basket through a grille that traps and prevents the ingress of debris that could adversely affect the extinguishing process.
HOW ARE THE SUCTION BASKETS USED?
Suction baskets are fitted to the end of the suction hoses and prevent dirt from entering the system to prevent damage to the pump. We also offer special low-level suction baskets that can be used when pumping water from a shallow water source.
WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE SUCTION BASKETS MADE OF?
The suction baskets are made of corrosion resistant materials, which will guarantee their long service life as well as their resistance to harsh intervention conditions.
