Products such as lithium batteries have the potential to 'short circuit' under certain conditions, leading to 'thermal runaway'.which poses a fire risk to the surrounding external environment if such batteries are not stored properly.
It is therefore ideal for the safe storage and transportation of potentially flammable products such as batteries, fireworks and other flammable chemicals.
It acts as a heat shield to reduce heat transfer.
