CHECK GAUGE
The device in the form of a check gauge is used to accurately measure the pressure in fire extinguishers. It is used in the inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers to determine whether the extinguisher being inspected is fully functional and has the correct operating pressure.
HOW DOES THE CHECK GAUGE WORK?
The check gauge is used to measure the pressure inside the extinguisher. The gauge is first removed from the extinguisher, a special attachment is attached to the check gauge which, when connected to the valve of the extinguisher, displays the pressure reading. In this way it can be reliably verified that the pressure inside the extinguisher corresponds to the recommended value. The measured value is compared with the recommended operating parameters for the type of extinguisher. These values can be used to reliably determine whether servicing or refilling of the extinguisher is necessary.
WHAT ACCESSORIES MUST BE ADDED TO THE TEST GAUGE?
In order to connect the check gauge to the extinguisher and start measuring the pressure, a special attachment must be purchased to ensure compatibility with the valve. The extension is not included with the gauge and must be purchased separately.
FOR WHICH TYPES OF EXTINGUISHERS IS THE MANOMETER SUITABLE?
The check gauge is compatible with most fire extinguishers. The appropriate type of extension must be selected according to the extinguisher model.
WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF THE CHECK GAUGE?
The 60 mm diameter manometer is designed for pressure measurement with an accuracy class of 1.6. The device has a bottom (radial) connection with M12x1,5 thread. The scale display is in pascals and the scale values are in black on a white background for easy reading. The indicator is made of aluminium in black. The gauge housing is made of black painted steel and the sight glass is made of instrument glass, which provides protection and a clear view of the scale. The measuring system is made of a tubular bronze spring and the machine is made of brass (CuZn), which guarantees reliability and long-term serviceability.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS CHECK GAUGE?
Easy to use
Accurate and reliable pressure measurement
Lightweight design for easy handling
HOW OFTEN TO CHECK THE PRESSURE IN THE EXTINGUISHER?
The fire extinguisher pressure should be checked at least once a year.
WHO CAN USE THE MANOMETER TO MEASURE THE PRESSURE IN FIRE EXTINGUISHERS?
This check gauge is intended primarily for professional service technicians who inspect and maintain fire extinguishers. Safety instructions must be observed when handling this product.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CALIBRATE THE CHECK GAUGE?
In order to make the pressure measurement of the fire extinguisher as accurate as possible, we recommend that you have the check gauge calibrated at least once a year by a calibration laboratory to check the pressure gauges.
