EXPANDOL LT FLUORINE-FREE FOAMING AGENT

Expandol LT is a high quality synthetic fluorine-free (F3) high foam extinguishing agent designed for fire fighting and fire protection of hydrocarbon based flammable liquids.

Expandol LT is a high foaming extinguishing agent ideal for use at medium foam levels at smaller incidents such as hydrocarbon leaks where direct action by hand means is possible. The high foaming extinguishing agent can also be used in conjunction with fixed fire extinguishing systems to protect thejackets, where it can extinguish a fire or suppress the release of toxic vapours following a chemical spill.

PRODUCT FEATURES:
- medium and high foam applications for both Class A and B fires.
- Ideal for smaller interventions at medium foam levels
- Suitable for hard to reach areas (medium and high foam)
- dosage from 3% (high foam) to 3-6% (medium foam)
- suitable for use with fresh and sea water

AREAS OF APPLICATION:
Minor hydrocarbon leaks with the possibility of manual intervention, protection of sumps in conjunction with fixed fire extinguishing systems, total flooding of spaces in Class A and B fires
medium foam: cellars, basements and smaller enclosed spaces, high foam: Ship spaces, engine rooms, LNG tanks, hard to reach areas where water cannot be used (smoke, limited access)
