FIREFIGHTING BOOTS TYPHON IR 1

Typhon IR1 firefighting boots meet EN 15090:2012 standard and represent a top solution for interventions in the most demanding conditions. It has been designed to provide maximum protection, comfort and durability, making it the ideal choice for professional firefighters.

The boots are made of black leather with a thickness of 2.2 ± 0.2 mm, which guarantees high durability and strength of the material. The SYMPATEX® inner lining is fireproof, waterproof and breathable, which ensuresThis ensures 100% waterproofing and wicks away moisture to keep feet dry and comfortable even when worn for long periods of time.

Protection is enhanced by a 1.7mm thick fire-resistant rubber layer that is stitched and cemented for maximum abrasion resistance. The footwear features a removable, high-strength centre zipper that makes it easy to slip on quicklyin and out, while fire-resistant lacing provides additional fastening.

Foot security is enhanced by the XXL's lightweight fiberglass toe caps, which are metal-free and athermal, adding to both comfort and protection. The solid heel and toe construction provides increased durability, while the nitrile rubber outsole offers extreme slip-resistant properties (SRC) and high heat resistance (HI3). Special grooves give the shoe flexibility, self-cleaning capability and excellent traction on rough terrain.

For comfort during intervention, the shoe features a removable high-density foam insole that absorbs shock, has an anatomical shape and anti-static properties. Other features include a boot puller for quick slip-on and the use of Nomex® aramid fibre, which provides increased protection against heat and fire. The absence of metal parts makes the footwear undetectable by safety gates.

At an additional cost, the shoes can be upgraded with the BOA® Fit System for fast and secure lacing and Ortholite insoles for increased comfort, hygiene and long-term foot support.
