FR BOARD - THERMAL INSULATION MADE OF STONE WOOL WITH FIRE PROTECTION COATING
Protecta® FR Board thermal insulation is designed to provide fire resistance to partition walls or floors where one or more penetrations have been breached. It contains a solid stone wool core that is sealed on one or both sides with a layer of Protecta® FR Coating.

MAIN USES
Protecta® FR Board thermal insulation is used to increase the fire resistance of flexible or rigid walland floor constructions where they are penetrated by various cables, metal pipes, composite and plastic pipes.

Easy retrofitting of penetrations
Permanent flexibility - accommodates material movements during fire and minor movements in the structure in which the product is used
Suitable for most surfaces including concrete, brick, masonry, steel, wood, plaster, glass, plastic and most non-porous surfaces
Can be used in unlimited lengths in walls up to 1200 mm high and in floors up to 800 mm wide
Can be installed in plasterboard walls with or without frames around the holes
Halogen-free and with added fungicides
Once installed, the board resists the effects of UV radiation, moisture and frost
Protecta® FR Board thermal insulation can be supplied in a smooth surface version
After application, precautions must be taken to prevent persons from entering the area covered by the thermal insulation
