POWDER - EXTINGUISHING AGENT D FAVORIT M
D favorit M is an effective special extinguishing powder for metal extinguishing with excellent efficiency for fire class D.

It is tested by an accredited testing laboratory and officially approved by the test centre MPA Dresden GmbH with the EN 615 standard: 2009 (with the exception of clause 8, fire performance test) and with the national annex NA DIN EN 3-7: 2007, extinguishing performance class D.

It is suitable for extinguishing class D fires (metal fires) according to DIN EN2. e.g. Alkali metal fires (lithium, potassium, sodium), light metals (aluminium, magnesium and their alloys), calcium and zinc. Its effective extinguishing agents are alkaline chlorides. Organic additives allow the powder to coat the surface of the combustible metal, which immediately adheres and remains impermeable to air.

It should be stored dry in its original packaging, hermetically sealed. The maximum stacking height should not exceed 3 buckets. The product is stable for at least 5 years. It is supplied only in 25kg plastic buckets with a polyethylene inner bag.
