Intervention hoses
We use the hoses most often for transporting water from pumps, during floods, on construction sites, etc. Hoses can be made of different materials such as synthetic fibre, polyester rubber and some contain a thin-walled EPDM rubber liner, which has a higher resistance to chemicals, seawater, UV radiation, ozone, etc. Emergency hoses are mainly intended for professional and volunteer firefighters. Hose widths range from 52-110mm and lengths are available in 15 and 20m versions. On request, however, we can also provide directly tailored lengths from 1 m up to 60 m. The hoses are fitted with STORZ AL couplings, which are made of forged aluminium that is resistant to breakage.
HOW ARE THE INTERVENTION HOSES USED?
The use of a hose is very simple and quick. Most often, the hoses are connected to a fire pump or a hydrant. The hoses are terminated with STORZ aluminium couplings for a tight and quick connection between pump and hose. The hose, once unwound, allows a smooth flow of water to the fire.
WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE FIRE HOSES MADE OF?
The intervention hoses are made of very durable materials that ensure their long life and also reliability during interventions. The intervention hoses are finished with STORZ aluminium couplings which are lightweight and durable.
