FR GRAPHITE - FIRE-RESISTANT FOAMING SEALANT

Protecta® FR Graphite is a water-based, fire-certified sealant that contains a high concentration of thermally expanding graphite material. This compound can be used in more demanding penetrations than FR Acrylic, for example in cable trays up to EI 180 and plastic pipes Ø 110 mm.

Protecta FR Graphite foams when exposed to fire and seals openings around penetrations during the burning of certain combustible or low melting point materials. It is designed to seal difficult service areas in the event of a fire, which traditional firestop sealants cannot do.

MAIN USES
Protecta® FR Graphite Sealant is used to increase the fire resistance of flexible and rigid wall or floorin areas where various steel and plastic pipes, cables with and without cable trays penetrate these structures.
