FR SERVICE TRANSIT - PLASTIC TUBE WITH INTUMESCENT MATERIAL INSIDE
The Protecta® FR Service Transit product consists of a circular, high temperature resistant plastic pipe containing an intumescent lining material graphite-based intumescent material that reacts to heat build-up and froths to fill gaps or cavities around cables and pipes, preventing the passage of flames, smoke and gases.

The Service Transit product is available in three different lengths, 150mm, 250mm and 400mm; the choice depends on the strength of the supporting structure and the fire classification required.

MAIN USES
The product is designed to increase the fire resistance of walls and floors, in areas where they are disturbed by penetrating cables and plastic pipes. Ideal for use in locations where it is likely that service equipment will be retrofitted or replaced in the future.

Certified for PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN+PVC and PP pipes, plus all types of cable up to a certain diameter
