BASIC DESCRIPTION
A quality ladder suitable as part of firefighting equipment, directly from the manufacturer and leader in firefighting ladders - JUST Leitern AG. For more than 130 years they have been manufacturing these special ladders in accordance with the European standard, but also meeting other national (German or British) standards. A manufacturer and supplier that continuously promotes new product developments in order to optimize them for all kinds of rescue operations.
All this is personified by this self-standing extension ladder with a lightweight design. It will not get lost in the work of professionals. The sturdy construction and excellent stability ensure comfortable and safe access to elevated areas. It is the perfect companion for rescue or firefighting work. Maximum safe load, to comply with standards, is possible with up to 3 persons.
CERTIFICATION
The ladder is manufactured and certified to meet European and Austrian standards and the standard ČSN EN 1147 with the extension of ČSN EN 4047.
European standard EN 1147 specifies the requirements, test methods and design criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services and for similar purposes. The tests specified in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.
European Standard CSN-F4047 specifies the requirements, test methods and criteria for testing self-lockingnuts, MJ threaded, of heat resistant nickel alloy NI-PH2601 (Inconel 718), silver plated - Grade: 1550 MPa (at ambient temperature) / 600 °C - Technical specification (Standard for direct use as CSN).
ADVANTAGES OF THE EXTENSION LADDER
The extension ladder is unique in its extension design with the exceptional ability to more than double its height. You can adjust this particular model thanks to the rope control. This makes height adjustment automated and very simple. Pulling through a pulley with plastic bearings, reduces friction to a minimum. Therefore, less force can be used when pulling out and handling and movement of parts is easier. This new ladder guidance and control is so innovative that no guide brackets are needed. The rope control is of course combined with a new rope stop, created according to the new development of the rope brake, which immediately stops the descending part of the ladder. This guarantees comfortable lowering of the ladder and a more solid anchoring of the individual parts. It can be easily folded, making it easier to carry, transport and store.
One of the most interesting advantages is the practical spikes welded to the foot of the auxiliary support legs. Together with the base, topped with an extended stabilising bar with reinforcing screws, they allow for a solid even on soft ground, ensuring even better stability and safer use.
Probably the biggest advantage is definitely the movable castors that are installed as part of the ladder's construction. They are used for easy and comfortable movement of the upper part of the ladder along the wall when extending and extending the ladder.
BASIC CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL AND ITS QUALITY
The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder will exceed your expectations. The entire ladder is made of high quality alloy aluminium (aluminium with various admixtures to achieve the required mechanical properties) from a specially designed double-sided welded design. The reinforced square rungs, up to 34 mm thick, have an embossed design on them with anti-slip properties for even greater safety, stability and comfortable climbingclimbing, or to make it easier to stand on the ladder when working at any height.ladder at any height, and are welded into the milled beams to ensure a secure hold. Not a single detail or defect must be overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.
CONNECTION TECHNOLOGY
The rungs are welded to the beams using the CMT technique - a cold welding process to achieve the highest possible quality. Compared to conventional welding, CMT works with very little heat input and an extremely stable arc.
THE INFLUENCE OF TIME
By using high quality aluminium alloy material and careful processing/weldingwelding of the complete ladder structure, considerable resistance to weather conditions has been achieved. Due to the material properties, the ladder cannot rust even when standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. There is thus no risk of damage or wear and tear.
