BASIC DESCRIPTION
TELESTEPS - aluminium telescopic ladders have been creating extraordinary products since the early 1990s. We bring you the leader in telescopic ladders, but also in rescue ladders with fire protection properties.
The TELESTEPS 75-413 fireproof telescopic ladder is the first telescopic model resistant to loads of up to 3 people at a time. The maximum weight under load is up to 500 kg! It is characterized by a more robust design of the beams, which have a triangular (conical) shape for better stability and thus increased safety. The solid construction and excellent stability ensure comfortable and safe access to elevated areas. It is the perfect companion for rescue or firefighting work.
ADVANTAGES OF THE TELESCOPIC LADDER
The telescopic ladder is characterised by its unique design with exceptional versatility. This particular model can be used as a support ladder with the possibility of adjusting the required height. This is possible thanks to the ability to extend the individual rungs of the ladder independently. It is characterized by better stability and safer use.
The biggest advantage is of course the ability to fold. Thanks to the retractable solution of each single step with a rung into the beam, it folds very well into a very compact position, making it easier to move around the workplace, to transport by car and to store.
BASIC CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL AND QUALITY
The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder exceeds all expectations. The side beams and individual rungs are made of anodised aluminium. The rungs have an embossed design with anti-slip properties for even greater safety, stability and comfortable climbing, or to make it easier to stand on the ladder when working at any height. The distance between the rungs can also be adjusted for comfortable standing.
High quality accessories made of reinforced laminate and plastic material are used. They are placed, for example, on the side beams as rubber anti-slip feet, which ensure a more solid and stable ladder position. They are made at an angle of 75°, which also contributes to a more stable position. Not a single detail or defect is overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.
ANODIZING TECHNOLOGY
The anodising solution or anodising is a chemical and thermal treatment of the ladder surface. It creates a protective layer on the treated aluminium surface. It prevents oxidation and protects the aluminium itself from it. It is most commonly used when aluminium is used outdoors. The material is thus significantly protected against weathering. The mechanical and abrasion resistance of the material is also increased. The thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as the surface roughness, are significantly reduced. The lifetime of the product itself is increased.
THE INFLUENCE OF WEATHER
The use of high quality anodised aluminium material and the careful construction of the complete ladder structure results in a really high resistance to weather conditions. Thanks to the material's properties, the ladder cannot rust even when standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. The material is also more resistant to heat. This means that there is no risk of damage or wear and tear.
CERTIFICATION
The ladder is manufactured and certified to comply with the European standard EN 1147 - portable ladders for firefighters.
This European Standard specifies the requirements, test methods and performance criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services and for similar purposes. The tests specified in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.
