DEFENSIVE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SPIKE

The fire spike is used to penetrate under the protective cover of the battery, to extinguish in spaces that cannot be entered (through a door or other closure). To extinguish a fire, it is not necessary to pierce a large hole, but a small hole into which the fire spike can be inserted is sufficient.

The fire spike allows to improve the fire conditions before entering the space.

The extinguishing spike is made of stainless steel.

The 70 cm long extinguishing spike can be connected via quick connectors to the F9, 50BETA Wli and F150 Worm WLi extinguishers. The 150 l fire extinguishing agent can be used to extinguish lithium batteries with a foam jet or connected to the extinguishing spike and with the a thermal imaging camera to detect the highest temperature point in the container and pierce the container wall or ceiling to start intensive extinguishing directly at the critical point. The transport hose of the device is 10 m long and is sufficient to cover all the necessary space for the intervention.

We recommend the use of the firefighting spike for the use of persons from the ranks of the Fire Brigade as it is necessary to be adequately equipped to avoid injury to the responders.
