The BETA Model PW-507 fire and smoke detector with built-in alarm is excellent as a home prevention device. It continuously monitors the surroundings and detects the presence of smoke and fire in situations where there is a slow burn, where there is a risk of smouldering for several hours before the flames flare up.
When smoke is detected in the air, it triggers both audible and visual/optical alarms. A loud pulsating sound is heard and a red LED flashes.
