Passive fire protection

We provide installation and inspection of fire seals in buildings according to the requirements of the fire safety solution of the Decree 246/2001 Coll. and its subsequent amendments, or according to ČSN 730810 treated against the spread of fire, which serve as preventive fire protection. We also provide regular inspections of fire seals and audits of the integrity of fire compartments.

Passive systems that prevent the spread of fire throughout a building are one of the most important areas of fire protection. Fire seals at the boundaries of fire compartments form a major part of passive protection. Firestops prevent the spread of fire between fire compartments through penetrations between structures (cabling, piping, etc.).

In addition to firestops, we also supply and install firestops, including associated construction work. We work with fire protection materials from manufacturers:
- Protecta

We carry out inspections and installation of PROTECTA products for the following products:
- Joint seals
- Pipe penetrations
- Cable penetrations
- Fire protection coatings

Firestops

They are installed in residential and corporate buildings or premises, industrial halls, warehouses or workshops, etc. Their fire resistance is determined by the standard CSN 13501-2, according to which the penetrations of the wiring of fire-division installations must be sealed with a plugsealed with seals so as to limit and retard the spread of fire during a fire in the distribution system and shall have a limit state of integrity and limit values on the unheated surface of the structure.

They act as preventive fire protection, the purpose of which is to slow and prevent the spread of fire, thereby buying the time necessary to allow thethe time required to allow persons to escape from the area threatened by fire and radiant heat, or to rescue immovable property, thereby reducing fire damage to a minimum extent.

Fire protection coatings and spraying

Their main function is to protect the load-bearing structures (wood, steel, concrete) in buildings. A huge advantage is the less demanding and quick application, which is also associated with a lower cost compared to cladding. Another advantageous feature is the increase in fire resistance by up to 180 minutes. It is an industrially produced dry plaster compound composed of bio-soluble mineral fibres and cementitious binders, aimed at fire protection:

- steel columns and beams
- bonded ceilings
- reinforced concrete load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls
- ceilings

APPLICATIONS:
Applied with special equipment using the "dry" spray method, which meansThe dry plaster mixture is sprayed with pressurised water directly onto the surface of the building structure. This procedure has many advantages:

- significantly lower humidification of the building than with conventional plastering
- indefinite service life because the application does not need to be renewed or repeated
- flexible material that does not crack
- low weight which does not overload the structure
- the application is possible even on complex / rugged structures
- act as thermal insulation
- fire resistance
