Extinguishing lithium batteries

Lithium battery fires reach very high temperatures (up to +3000°C) and are therefore very difficult to extinguish with conventional extinguishing agents. Known extinguishing agents such as powder, foam or water are insufficient because these extinguishing agents do not reach the source of the fire (in this case the chain reaction of the cells inside the battery). These fires must be extinguished by special means.
Our range includes special extinguishers and other means developed specifically for extinguishing lithium batteries.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN UNIEX AND LITHEX EXTINGUISHERS:
1. Uniex extinguishers have universal use for multiple classes of fires (ABDF+LI), while Lithex extinguishers are specialized for lithium battery fires.
2. Lithex extinguishers are water-based and contain the mineral vermiculite, while Uniex are foam extinguishers.
